Wiki Embedding

Support for the OEmbed protocol allows you to embed fragments from external web services.

Simply place a link to an embeddable content item at the start of a line. For example, this YouTube link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ) is shown inline as a link, but results in an embedded video when placed on its own line:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ

Overriding Embed

There are some new ways to override this:

[[https://example.com]]

[[https://example.com >> https://example.com]]

{{?embed |url=https://example.com|raw=yes}}

And there’s a new way to embed a URL:

{{{?embed
|url=https://example.com
|iframe=yes <-- to embed the URL in an iframe
|align=left <-- only works with iframe=yes
|maxwidth=(CSS length, like 400px)
|raw=yes <-- disables embed; doesn't work with other options
}}}

Supported Services

You can embed fragments from many popular services.
